Leadership D51 is an entry point that offers established and emerging business and community members a unique opportunity to comne together. In this course, we will cover the D51 Strategic Plan, how D51 is preparing and supporting students and staff, district leadership structure, community partnerships and communications, and district finances.
- Learn more about D51 through balanced and open discussion.
- Deepen community relationships in order to support student career exploration, mental health, and deepened family partnership.
- Recruit and secure new parterns and team members to support the efforts of District 51 and our community-driven strategic plan.
Who should apply?
We are looking for asprining leaders as well as young professionals that are passionate about Mesa County and want to make an impact on the things that matter to them. Consider applying for Leadership D51 if:
- Diverse community partners.
- Rising leaders in their profession who are eager to grow.
- Dedicated volunteers for non-profit organizations and civic activities.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, October 4. Applicants are asked to commit to all four meetings (Oct. 25, Dec. 20, Feb. 21, and April 3, all from noon to 1:30 p.m.). If you cannot attend one or more meetings, please apply in 2024-25.
